Kirschenmichel

The base of this recipe comes from my grandmother, and I gave it my unique twist with sourdough bread and almonds. The perfect companion would be Vanilla Sauce (Creme Anglaise) shown in the picture. But it is delicious just by itself or with some Vanilla Ice cream.
 
The product does not come with the Vanilla Sauce! I can provide you my favorite recipe if needed.
