Hi!
I am Bianca
I love the European Artisan Sourdough Bread!
I grew up in Franken, a Region in Bavaria, Germany, blessed with vineyards producing amazing wines and world-renowned beers. We are also privileged with heavenly artisan sourdough bread creations. Combine the bread with traditional regional foods made from scratch and you are practically in heaven.
In other words, I was spoiled without knowing it, especially when it comes to artisan bread. The Real Bread!
In Germany, bread is embedded in every German's DNA. We practically eat bread all day, every day. No wonder the German Bread was officially recognized in 2014 as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
My Grandma always pre-ordered the bread with our local baker (every town's must-have) and as a child, I always volunteered to pick them up. I vividly recall the aroma of the bread and the joy of munching on the way back home.
Let me show you where I'm coming from

The joy of connecting with the community
Back in 2020, with the abundant encouragement and relentless support that I received from my husband Sean, we embarked on the journey of launching Bianca Cavandi European Artisan Sourdough Bakery. We both share a tremendous passion for the artisan European sourdough bread and gourmet food.
From the onset of our activities, starting with our very first pop-up shop back in 2021, Sean and I have witnessed how our artisan products have led to the development of profound connections with the community. We now have friends and families in the community who have become our regular customers. We had no idea that a simple product made from flour, water, and salt would be such a powerful connector of people and emotions. Seeing the joy on people's faces as they savor our bread is the ultimate reward for the hard work.
We take pride in knowing that every loaf we send out into the world adds a dash of delight to someone's day. It's that simple act of bringing happiness through the art of breadmaking that fuels our passion.
So, as you explore our offerings, remember that our bread is a labor of love and a culmination of a journey that started with primarily intending to emulate our European culinary experiences in our own household. From our family to yours, we invite you to experience the connection, the taste, and the heartwarming happiness that each slice of our bread carries.
